  1. My 7 year old daughter is frightened of outside, her room, upstairs, her shadow and sleep tonight after your "visit" to her classroom. She thinks our house will be trodden on by the giant, her father's house, her best friend's house. It might seem fun to grown ups but please think about your target age range before promoting to primary schools. Year 2 is far too young. Year 6 - OK as they are ready for life and quite bored by primary. Year 2 is madness. Louise Strudwick, parent of a St Michael's Year 2, Year 4 and a Helena Romanes Year 7. Full stop.

    1. We are very sorry that your daughter has been upset by this and that you feel so strongly. I certainly hope, and am sure, the teachers involved explained that stone giants are more messy and clumsy than anything else when moving around and that there is nothing to worry about.

Please do contact your teachers straight away to let them know how you feel so they can resolve this.

  2. It did scare me a bit at school but then I got to know it more and I calmed down. Some people in the school field were trying to catch the stone giant.
